Next, you should know that they will probably not want to take you back to their place for quite some time. Either make it easy for them and tell them you appreciate environments that leave you fearing for your health, or invite them to your place for a snuggle and a movie. Trust me, they could use a home away from home for the evening. Next, know that they may not be as available as you want them to be. Most single men have only two things to worry about. Work and their social lives. Single fathers have an infinite list of things to worry about. With each child comes hundreds of preoccupations and worries that will steal their attention and ability to spend as much time with you as you or they might like. Where you may be wanting two or three nights a week, they may at best be able to give you one. And they will probably have ketchup stains when they show up there, too. You see, to come see you, they had to feed their kids corn dogs for dinner because they were already running ten minutes late. On that same note, single dads may not get back to you as quickly as you like. If you always need a text back within 30 seconds, a single dad is not right for you. If you need a text back within three hours, a single dad might not be right for you. If you need a text back the same day, a single dad might not be right for you. He is, however, interested in finding someone that will enhance and add important flavor and spice to his children if it ever gets that far. I promise you that. Yes, dating a single dad can be tricky. He may not be able to spend every waking moment with you. He may not be able to be everything that a twenty year old guy can be when it comes to meeting and falling in love. But there is a huge plus side to single dads too, you know.
